It’s been a minute since last we heard new music from gorgeous singer/model Cassie Ventura. Her last project was a titled “Rockabyebaby,” a mixtape she released in 2013 that included star-studded features by Rick Ross, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, among other.
Last year in March Cassie’s boyfriend, Puff Daddy aka Sean Combs said he had plans to begin producing again and mentioned Cassie as one of the artists he would work with. Plans appeared to have changed as Cassie’s new r&b single, “Love a Loser” featuring California rapper G-Eazy was produced by Ben Billions and Danny Boy.
That said, Diddy still lent a helping hand by debuting the track as a guest on OVO Sound Radio episode No. 48.
Highlighting Cassie’s sweetly soft voice, the laid back r&b single is themed on making good choices in love partners, with Cassie declaring, “I’d rather lose a lover than to love a loser.”
