Roc Nation-signee Justine Skye has released a video for “Back For More,” a visual featuring the Roc Nation signee lamenting lost love. The single features Jeremih, but in the video Skye’s love interest is played by actor Rotimi known for his work in the popular series “Power.”
Featured on Skye’s album JS1, the video was shot in Fort Greene, the Brooklyn neighborhood she grew up in.
In commenting on working with Rotimi, Skye told The Fader, “He gave me great advice and made me feel a bit more comfortable about it. It was great to have an actual actor be a part of it too because it was basically improv and we just fed off of each other.”
Skye noted that shooting the video was good practice because it came just before she began filming in the Christopher Kenneally-directed film Green Dolphin.
