Best Of Supreme Week 6 Fall 2017: I Don’t Dance Now, I Make Money Moves!

September 27, 2017. Leave a Comment

What is said to be the week before the Brooklyn Supreme store opens (read about that here), the brand rolls out its most generous drop of the month, offering up a big assortment of merchandise to take you into the chillier temperatures of October.

No collabos this week (kinda refreshing) and still no headbands!

For us, the pop out item for week six are the hundred-dollar bill overalls ($188), offered in three colors, blue, green and black. They were No. 4 on our top ten list for the season and remain blessed and highly favored.

Supreme fans love a special item and on social media definitely there has been a lot of buzz around the red Andis Envy cordless clippers ($98), well worth the price for the hype they’d bring to any barbershop.

There have been some criticism of U.S.-based creatives using Arabic letters as a tool for clout points, but given how much anti-Muslim sentiment still exists in the United States, one can also see their use as a statement of solidarity. Weighing the pros and cons, we maintain the Arabic logo coach’s jackets ($159) are fly, as much for the lettering as the appealing color offerings.

If you’re a woman looking to avoid street harassment or simply have loner tendencies, do not sleep on the Sherpa reversible parka ($238) in three colors. It’s not cheap but at the same time, it’s a two-for, a super fuzzy jacket on one side and on the other side, a quilted nylon jacket embroidered with the phrase “leave me alone.”

Other items to note are the Polartec hoodie ($148) featuring a mini box logo in five colors, including pink (yes, we still heart pink) and the Polartec Harrington jacket ($128). Tbh, we find these items to be basic as hell, then again, the genius of Supreme is it makes something for everyone, including its more meat and potatoes customer.

Speaking of basic, the metal D-ring caps ($48) are solid as can be and will not break the bank.

The online drop will occur on September 28, 2017 at 11:00 BST for the European site and 11:00 EST for the U.S. site. Physical stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris open at 11:00 local time. The collection goes live in Japan on September 30th.
