Bhad Bhabie Releases Visuals For ‘Hi Bich’ And ‘Wachu Know’

September 22, 2017. Leave a Comment

All of 14-years old, Bhad Bhabie (real name Danielle Bregoli) has released her first visual since signing with Atlantic Records in September 2017. Titled “Hi Bich / Whachu Know,” the two-song video features spare beats that Bregoli  basically talks over using the “catch me outside” attitude that made her famous. Bregoli’s attitude is real and the “white Js” hook in the first song is good, all of which is heightened by the freak show aspect of her persona.

Without doubt, Atlantic signed Bregoli because she’s a white girl capable of going viral. The fact that her nickname, Bhad Bhabie, is similar to Cardi B’s Bardi nickname is not a coincidence and is an intentional move by Atlantic to brush shoulders with Cardi’s energy and appeal.

That said, the gatekeepers of rap music are black and Bregoli will never be widely accepted within the culture. None of this matters to Atlantic, which looks at Bregoli as a cash grab, whereby the company can put together an album, generate a hit and get in/get out with a nice little profit within a year or two at the most.

One hopes Bregoli has some decent people in her corner because otherwise five years from now she could end up with nothing to show for her days as Bhad Bhabie.

Check out the visual below.

One interesting detail, the items are packaged in paper bags rather than problematic plastic.

He pushed us and made everyone around him better. Though our contractual relationship has ended, he remains a deeply loved member of the Nike family."

Allegedly, Bryant was considering moving on from Nike before his death. According to friend and investor Shervin Pishevar, Bryant wasn’t happy with his Nike deal and discussed launching an independent sneaker company called Mamba.
