Ibeyi Make Spanish Singing Debut With ‘Me Voy’ Visual Ft. Mala Rodriguez

Singing duo Ibeyi  have realeased a visual for “Me Voy,” a track featuring Spanish rapper Mala Rodriguez aka La Mala that will be including on their upcoming album, Ash. While the sisters are known for singing in a combination of English, French and Yoruba, “Me Voy” marks their Spanish singing debut.

In an interview with Remezcla, they explained the decision to sing in Spanish. “We needed to sing in Spanish to set a sensual tone for song,” they explained. “When women feel sensual, not only is it sexy, but really powerful and we set out to convey that in the music video.”
