In addition to praise for his music and fashion efforts, Pharrell Williams fans often comment on how gorgeous and youthful his face is. Even factoring in the black-don’t-crack adage, at 44 years-old, Williams looks gooood for his age.
In a chat with the multi-talented creative and business owner about his recent tennis launch with Adidas, Dazed Digital asked him to give up his skin care routine and Williams happily complied. “I exfoliate like a madman,” said Pharrell. “When you exfoliate and you drink a lot of water, that does good for you. To me, the key is just exfoliating, like a monster. There’s a lot of dead skin.”
Indicating he’s not without humor about his routine, he added he exfoliates “all the time, like a narcissistic madman.”
Williams also weighed in on his current favorite designers. “Comme des Garçons is always number one for me. [Rei Kawakubo] is the king,” said Pharrell. “There’s always Chanel, I love Phoebe Philo and what she does at Céline. My partner in Human Made, Nigo. He’s the goat to me.”
