New York designers Prabal Gurung and Chrishabana have linked up to create a collaborative collection of sunglasses, set to launch in spring 2018.
First debuted on Gurung’s spring 2018 runway held during New York Fashion Week, the “Polychrome” sunglasses are offered in black, blue, pink and yellow and are distinguished by a futuristic Matrix-inspired silhouette, which has already been spotted on Gigi Hadid.
The sci-fi-influenced eyewear shape is heating up as an important one with similar silhouettes offered by Le Specs, Andy Wolfe, Rihanna’s collaboration with Dior and have also been offered by Kendall and Kylie.
Prior to working with Gurung, accessory designer Chrishabana has worked on pieces for Zana Bayne, Gypsy Sport and Gentle Monster.
