Timberland celebrated the debut of its Ghost White boot last night with a party at Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club store in SoHo. The event included displays featuring the boots customized by artists Toofly, Sue Tsai, David Park and Kevin Laroy. The event was hosted by Hot 97 morning host Laura Stylez.
The Ghost White boot marks the first time the six-inch silhouette has been offered in an entirely white colorway.
The limited-edition style drops today (September 1, 2017) with a roll out that will include six Ghost White ice cream trucks making stops in New York, Baltimore and Washington, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Los Angeles, where customers will be gifted free ice cream and compete for a chance to get a free pair of boots. The trucks will be stationed outside of participating Timberland retailers.
The activation was led by Mel Peralta, Timberland’s lifestyle marketing manager, who was brought on by the brand in March 2017 to handle collaborative efforts.
