Bronx-born rapper Alaya Lee has dropped a close to two-minute freestyle over Wu-Tang Clan’s iconic “Protect Ya Neck” single, first released in 1992.
The song is significant as it was the group’s debut single from its widely-lauded Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) album. Produced by RZA (then known as Prince Rakeem), it features eight of the nine original Wu-Tang members.
Lee has become known for remixing ’90s banger and last month released a visual for Wu Tang member Raekwon’s 1995 single “Ice Cream,” which you can check out here.
