It’s been a major year for Cardi B, who recently capped her chart topping “Bodak Yellow” single with a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Offset. Thus, there’s probably no celeb on the planet better suited for the cover of Rolling Stone‘s “The Hot Issue.”
Commenting on the cover on Instagram, Cardi wrote, “Issa DREAM COME TRUE !!!! I can’t believe it!! I can’t believe when I got the call, and I still can’t believe I’m seeing it now!! The cover of ROLLING STONE!!!! WOW!!! Thank you sooo much for choosing me!! I’m so blessed and honor.”
The article delves into some of the controversies Cardi has dealt with, but she says beef with female rappers is not one of them. “It’s not even the female rappers that are catty, it’s the fans,” she explained. “They just want that beef.”
