Cardi has confirmed on social media that she and Offset are indeed married. In a Notes statement (below) Cardi wrote, “We was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married. We found someone to marry us and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do with no dress and makeup and no ring!” She closed out her statement with a snap, writing, “Well now since you lil nosey f*cks know, at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock!”

Congratulations are allegedly in order for Cardi B and Offset, who are said to be married as of September 20, 2017. The proposal was a spontaneous one, according to TMZ, with the Migos member asking Cardi to marry him not long after they woke up together in his Atlanta home.
Cardi replied yes, and though the loving moment could have passed, Offset was intent on making their union real and called in someone to officiate a ceremony that took place in his bedroom. Other than the individual who officiated, the only other witness was Cardi’s cousin.
Cardi didn’t know it yet, but at the time of the proposal, she was carrying Offset’s child, a baby girl who is due any day now.
TMZ got its hand on the actual license, which lists the two rappers’ government names: Kiari Kendrall Cephus and Belcalis Merlenes Almanzar. Confirming their wedded state, Offset thanked “my wife” when accepting the BET award for best group last night (June 24, 2018).
The hastily arrange home ceremony happened so fast, Offset didn’t have time to purchase a proper ring. When Offset went on to propose to Cardi at an October concert, he wasn’t asking for her hand in marriage, rather he was making a very public showing of his promise to cough up a ring.
