Saint Heron, a creative platform founded by Solange Knowles, has announced plans for an IKEA collaboration. Titled “Objects, Space, Architecture,” as of now there aren’t any details on what will be included in the collection though its themed on the intersection of creative endeavors and the home.
In a press statement, Marcus Engman, head of design at IKEA Range & Supply, stated, “Contemporary art is a huge part of people’s life today. At IKEA we are curious about the creative space in between architecture, design, art, and music and how that could come alive in the homes of the many people. This is what we want to explore together with Saint Heron.”
As of late, IKEA is very much amplifying its collaborative efforts, especially among creatives with street-inspired roots. Along with the Saint Records announcement yesterday, it also provided further information of its collaboration with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White label, which you can check out here.
