Baltimore brand Under Armour and Milan’s Palm Angels as led Francesco Ragazzi pretty much exist at the opposite ends of the sport spectrum. UA is rooted in sport and performance while Palm Angels is known for celebrating putting a modern spin on heritage sport silhouettes.
The two labels found a bridge in Milan, where they presented a spring 2019 collection on Sunday (June 17, 2018), combining Under Armour’s technical fabric expertise with Palm Angel’s eye for fetching color stories and au courrant sport silhouettes.
In addition to creating a cool look for Under Armour, the collection also highlighted the brand’s partnership with fabric company Celliant, known for a fiber that is said to enhance performance and hasten post-workout recoveries.
In addition to clothing, the collection included a range of sneakers detailed with Velcro straps as well as a platform model and a hybrid cowboy boot/sneaker. The collection should launch sometime during the first-half of 2019.
