New York-based Celfie Cosmetics as led by CEO Nicole Harding has partnered with Swedish-born Edwina Kulego of UBM Fashion Group on a collection of vegan lipsticks designed to provide a nude lip look for a range of melanated complexions. Comprised of six shades, the Legacy collection ranges from “beige bliss” to “deep chocolate.”
The collection provides a needed option in a beauty industry that has grown leaps when it comes to providing makeup for darker skin tones, but still struggles with concepts of nude shades in lipsticks.
Shot by Joey Rosado, campaign images feature models in a range of shades and include celebrity hair stylist Ursula Stephen and Liberty Fairs co-owner Sharifa Murdock.
A portion of “Legacy” sales will be donated to African Health Now, a non-profit organization that provides accessible healthcare in rural parts of Africa.
Priced at $14.99 each, the Legacy collection is now available on celfiecosmetics.com and edwinakulego.com. Look for the collection to drop in Scandinavia and the United Kingdom on September 1, 2018.
