Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill May Be Rekindling Their Romance

It’s hard to tell what is Queen marketing hype and what is real, but it appears Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill may have rekindled their romance.

For starters, Minaj has been referencing a “new boy” in multiple interviews, including her “Queen Radio” broadcasts on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio.  While Mill doesn’t fit the description of “new,” the theory among fans is he’s a changed man since leaving prison.

Chatter about Mill emerged with the single “Barbie Dreams,” in which Minaj included her ex in a song themed on roasting a long list of rappers. Minaj spit, “Meek still be in my DMs, I be havin’ to duck him. I used to pray for times like this” face-ass when I fuck him.” Notably she uses the present not past tense of fuck.

Mill appeared to respond to the bars on Instagram with a black and white image of himself captioned with a weary-face emoji, which Minaj liked. That said, the two are still not following each other.

In an interview with Funk Flex (August 14, 2018), she confirmed he Mill was in her DMs and said she she was certain he was “very very happy” to be mentioned in the song. Flex brought up that Minaj’s ex Nas wasn’t included in the song and when asked why, Minaj said she had a Nas bar but chose to leave it out.

When the New York DJ asked her point blank if there was a chance her relationship with Meek could be repaired, she blushed, demurred and countered by asking Flex what inspired him to ask the question. Flex explained he had a better feeling about Minaj with Mill than with Nas.

Nicki volleyed back, “You know what’s funny? Nas told me that he thinks that Meek is still in love with me,” adding that he told her that while they were still together.

On the current status of her relationship with Meek, she explained, “It’s taken me a long time to even be at this place. Since he came home, he’s apologized to me, he’s really tried to be big the bigger person, and he’s come out and said, ‘Yo, I know I didn’t really do right, and I know you stood by me and were good to me.’

Implying that they’re at least “meeting halfway,” Minaj added, “Because of that, I was able to breathe and really try to forgive and move on. Because I’m a forgiving person as long as the person comes at me right. If they continue with their bullshit, I’m not just going to kiss your ass and double back. If you take that step with me, I’ll meet you half way.”

When asked if she’s currently dating, Minaj told Flex , “It’s none of your business.”

She followed up with an interview with Genius where Rob Markman asked her if Meek was cool about the “Barbie Dreams” lyrics. Once again, she smiled mischievously and stated, “Well, did you see anything happen from me saying it?”

For fall winter 2025 KNWLS opted to forego a runwa For fall winter 2025 KNWLS opted to forego a runway show and present their collection in a styled lookbook.

Taking inspiration from a feminine Y2K aesthetic, the collection embodies designers Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault’s ability to balance sexy and cool.

In an interview with Vogue, the pair shared that they are currently working on a new design director role in Europe and have several other projects in the pipeline, including another denim project, a collaboration with a jewelry brand, and a menswear capsule for an e-commerce site.

Commenting on the lookbook styling, they shared, "Obviously in the lookbooks it's styled in a quite extreme way, but if you break it down into individual pieces, we've been thinking about merchandising and the customer more than ever before," said Arsenault. "We've seen the team in the studio wearing the pieces differently too, and we've taken that into account. It's a nice challenge to say: 'Okay, we want to make a sweatshirt, but it still has this silhouette or wash or rib detail that makes it feel really Knwls."
