SZA has always felt as though she shared some vibe DNA with Aaliyah and she tapped into their shared love of cozy-yet-sexy fits with a custom LaRoxx look that she wore to the Soul Train Music Awards on Saturday night (November 17, 2018) at The Orleans in Las Vegas.
The cream-colored set combined a bra with wrap-around waist ties, a floor-length suit jacket and high-waisted trousers.
SZA’s makeup handled by Raúl Alejandre, with hair by Randy Stodghill. The look was styled by Alejandra Hernandez and Dianne Garcia.
SZA is nominated for five awards: best r&b/soul female artist; song of the year for “Weekend,” the Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award for “Broken Clocks,” best collaborative performance for “Broken Clocks” with Kendrick Lamar and video of the year for “Broken Clocks.”
