Rihanna really isn’t feeling the United States these days and honestly who could blame her. Now based in London, the Bajan boss in October 2017 moved out of a leased SoHo, Manhattan penthouse and then sold her West Hollywood home for $2.85 million in August 2018, just one year after purchasing it.
Now comes news that her six-bedroom Hollywood Hills home is also up for sale leaving her with a measly, single U.S. property. According to Variety, the L.A. mansion sits at the base of Nichols Canyon and is priced at $7.49 million. Rihanna purchased the home about 18 months ago for $6.8 million.
According to the floor plan description, there is one bedroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the second floor, along with a spacious master bedroom that includes a sitting room, fireplace and bathroom. The property also includes a terrace, infinity edge swimming pool and spa plus a guest house that’s been converted into a fitness center.
As for the furniture and paintings shown in the images, probably the interior has been professionally staged with most if not all of Rihanna’s property long gone.
Beside her relocation to London, Rihanna may have been inspired to unload the pricey property because of an intruder/stalker in May 2018. While Rihanna wasn’t home at the time, it’s disconcerting that her invader not only broke in and disabled the alarm systems, but also told police officers, he was there to have sex with the singer.
According to TMZ, he was there for 12 hours, enough time to unpack and charge his phone while he waited. He was already in hot water for entering a home earlier in the month in the same area that he believed to be owned by Rihanna.
Rihanna still owns her home in Barbados and also owns the deed for a 3,500-square-foot three-bedroom condo in a luxury tower in the Century City neighborhood of Los Angeles.
