The Essentials capsule features denim, tops, undies and socks with nary a pair of skinny jeans in sight! Lots of references to Preston's signature color, which is orange. 

One interesting detail, the items are packaged in paper bags rather than problematic plastic. 

No sizing or pricing yet, but this capsule will launch on April 23rd on Calvin Klein's e-commerce site.

Though our contractual relationship has ended, he remains a deeply loved member of the Nike family."

Vanessa Bryant, who was said to be unhappy with how Nike handled releases after he passed in January of last year (see ESPN note on slide), also weighed in on Ig stories: "Kobe Bryant was an important part of Nike's deep connection to consumers. Allegedly, Bryant was considering moving on from Nike before his death. According to friend and investor Shervin Pishevar, Bryant wasn’t happy with his Nike deal and discussed launching an independent sneaker company called Mamba.

Commenting on the effort in an exchange with i-D, Refstrupp said, ”Priya and her team are so dedicated and have achieved so much in such a short space of time. It’s so amazing, but what I admire the most is her authenticity and genuine approach.

"I am really excited about Ahluwalia's first official venture into womenswear and I am so honured it is with Ganni. She is going to achieve great things.”

Made using dead-stock fabrics, the collection drops on April 23rd on ganni.com.
