Philly rapper Meek Mill continues his Drake reunion tour with the release today (February 7, 2019) of a video for “Going Bad,” a visual that plays up the life of millionaire power players. Directed by Kid Art, the darkly-lit video shows both rappers suited up and hanging out alternatively in a posh lobby, a board room and a private suite where they watch a horse race, smoke cigars and gamble.
The video is filled with men (there are literally a total of two women), and included among them are T.I., Swizz Beatz, Nipsey Hussle, J. Prince and Shy Glizzy.
While all is friendly now, the two rappers famously went to war with each other, a feud that began in July 2015 when Meek on Twitter accused Drake of using a ghostwriter. In the video the clash seemingly is symbolized with a head on collision between two Rolls Royce Wraith vehicles, driven by Meek and Drake, neither of which are willing to let up on the gas pedal despite what will clearly be a tragic outcome.
The two put an official end to their beef in Boston where Meek joined Drake on stage on September 8, 2018 as part of his “Aubrey & the Three Migos” tour.
Next on Mill’s schedule is the kick off of “The Motivation” tour, which opens on February 19, 2019 in Miami.
