Sacai is going on a world pop-up-shop tour, an effort that will reunite label designer Chitose Abe with former Colette proprietor, Sarah Andelman. Titled “Bonjour Sacai,” the series of temporary stores will launch on February 12, 2019 in Paris. The concept will also be accompanied by a web store.
“After many years of collaboration between Sacai and Colette, I’m very happy Chitose continues our nice relationship with this project,” she said in a press statement. “The eclectic mix will give to the pop-up a unique vibe.”
The store will include Sacai’s spring 2019 collection for men, women and kids, as well as items made in collaboration with A.P.C., Nike, Beats by Dre, Fragment, Petit Bateau and Hervé Chapelier.
Andelman also linked Abe with jeweler Charlotte Chesnais and ceramics maker Astier de Villatte, both of whom the Japanese designer collaborated with as part of Colette’s series of designer pop-up shops held throughout 2017 as part of the boutique’s farewell efforts.
Since closing down Colette, Andelman has been running a consulting agency called Just an Idea.
Sacai’s first pop-up shop will be located at 40 Rue de Richelieu in Paris from February 12th through March 9th.
