Ariana Grande has linked with Starbucks for a new drink called Cloud Macchiato that comes in cinnamon or caramel, hot or cold. One of the drink’s main component is the chain’s Cold Foam, a trademarked foam topping first introduced in 2014. The drink’s name cross references the foam and the cloud emoji, which Grande frequently deploys.
The Cloud Macchiato is a permanent addition to Starbuck’s menu and is now available at Canadian and U.S. stores. Grande celebrated the drink’s release by tweeting a photo series with her dogs Myron and Toulouse both of whom are sporting Tiffany dog collars.
Grande, who identifies as a vegan, suggested her fans try the soy version of drink, a suggestion that was dismissed by vegans who pointed out that the foam still has egg whites in it. At the same time, the drink’s caramel drizzle includes butter and cream. Whoops!
