With the worst of the Tristan Thomas cheating scandal behind her, Jordyn Woods is now speaking up about processing the blow back on social media in response the news.
While on a trip to Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday (April 20, 2019), Woods spoke on a panel themed on bullying and discussed understanding for the first time the level of prejudice black women face.
In a video obtained by Daily Mail, Woods stated, “My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world. I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman in a just society. How we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have lived it.”
When Woods was exposed in mid-February 2019 for having an affair with Thomas, she chose to appear on Jada Pinket-Smith’s “Red Table Talk,” where she argued her case, saying there was no relationship and that she and Thompson only kissed once.
Following her appearance, Khloé Kardashian put Woods on blast on Twitter, where she accused her of lying and calling her out as “the reason my family broke up!”
While Woods moved out of Kylie Jenner‘s home following the scandal, the ex-besties still follow each other on Instagram and recently both have signaled a wish to repair their friendship.
