As suspected by many, Rihanna‘s cover story for Bazaar’s May 2019 issue was about more than showing her pretty face. The makeup Rihanna wore made use of Fenty Beauty products, including items that haven’t yet been launched.

On Instagram, Fenty Beauty published a shot of the cover with the caption, “We spy something coming soon” and according to @fentystats, the cover thus far features at least two new products, which should hit retail sometime in May 2019.

First up is a $20 lipstick called Poutsicle Juicy Stain, which will make its debut with four colors, Purpsicle, Motorboat, Sun Snatched and Tropic Tantrum. The second item is for the eyes. Called Baewatch Vivid and priced at $35, the liquid eyeliner includes three colors: Hollapeño, Techno Beet and Banana Blaze.

Rihanna’s makeup was handled by makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench, who also used Fenty Beauty products now at retail. Items include Fenty Beauty’s Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Chili Mango ($25), Summer Daze & Summer Nights Iridescent Lip Luminizer Trios ($32) and Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter in Mimosa Sunrise and Sangria Sunset($36).

Part of his debut collection with the retailer, the men's "giant fit" chino priced at 89.50 is 100% sold out! Relecting the popularity of the silhouette, the women's wide-leg pleated cargo is also sold out.

With wider fits and chino swinging back into popularity, we can't help but wonder what sneakers and shoes will be coming along for the ride. Any nominations?

The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her care The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her career as a professional tennis player in the September issue of American Vogue.

In the cover story, which is a must read, Williams shares some thoughts on her evolution away from tennis and says,"Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair. If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family. Maybe I’d be more of a Tom Brady if I had that opportunity. Don’t get me wrong: I love being a woman, and I loved every second of being pregnant with Olympia. I was one of those annoying women who adored being pregnant and was working until the day I had to report to the hospital—although things got super complicated on the other side. And I almost did do the impossible: A lot of people don’t realize that I was two months pregnant when I won the Australian Open in 2017."

The cover editorial was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who in 2020 became the first black woman to style a U.S. Vogue cover.

This cover was also one of the last projects hairstylist #LatishaChong worked on before she sadly passed away in July this year.
