New York-based Kith and Coca-Cola are once again teaming up for a capsule collection. Kith founder Ronnie Fieg took to social media today (July 25, 2019) where he shared a first look at a patchwork hoodie, sweater and Polo shirt, a capsule whose color story is inspired by the gorgeous state of Hawaii.
Commenting on the capsule, Fieg wrote, “In 2000, the State of Hawaii gave each island its own official color. That color matches the hue of the island’s official flower. We used those colors to create these patchwork pieces made of a summer-weight cotton jersey.”
As part of the launch, Kith is holding a surf competition in Oahu, Hawaii on July 30th. Winners will be featured on Kith’s Instagram page and will be gifted Coke x Kith surfboards. (Find more details on how to enter below.)
Kith will launch the collection on August 2nd with a pop-up shop in at 2201 Kalākaua Avenue in Honolulu. The collection will drop in Kith stores and kith.com a week later on August 9th.
