City Girls member Yung Miami (real name Caresha Romeka Brownlee) was the target of a drive by shooting in Miami that fortunately ended with the rapper unharmed.
Yung was shot at in Miami while driving her red Mercedes G-Wagon . According to Miami-Dade police detective Lee Cowart, the shooting took place at approximately 1:00 AM on Tuesday morning (August 6, 2019), not far from Circle House where Yung records.
A video has surfaced showing Yung in an exchange with police officers following the incident. She told the police that the shots were fired at her from a vehicle behind her whose lights were off. At least one of the bullets struck the spare tire of her vehicle. She was reportedly leaving the studio when it happened.
Yung is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend, producer Southside. She already has a son, Jai Wiggins Jr.
Miami-Dade police department is investigating, but there are no suspects at this time.
