First previewed on Kanye West‘s daughter North West earlier this year, Yeezy‘s Foam Runner sneaker has now been officially unveiled.
As the name implies, the shoe is a foam slip-on, a construction that has drawn the inevitable comparisons to Crocs. While the material story may be the same, the Yeezy Foam Runner is a slip on shoe not a clog. As well the silhouette is distinguished by a tapered toe and a wave of cut outs on the upper as well as a built-out heel.
The Yeezy Foam Runner is slated to arrive some time in 2020 and while exact pricing hasn’t been released, according to Twitter account @YeeezyMafia, the new shoe will be surprisingly affordable compared with prior Yeezy sneaker and boot launches.
