North Carolina’s own Rapsody (real name Marlanna Evans) has dropped a visual for “Oprah,” a single featuring Leikeli47. Directed by Farah X, the video was styled by the famed Misa Hylton.
The visual for “Oprah” marks the second video from EVE, Rapsody’s third studio album with each song a tribute to a powerful black woman.
Reflecting the economic prowess of the woman it’s named after, “Oprah” is all about women taking control of their economic destinies through focus on the mighty dollar. One thing we appreciate about Rapsody’s world is the fact that dollar bills already feature the face of Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill.
