Bronx-born rapper Cardi B thrilled her fans last night (November 18, 2019) when she unexpectedly dropped some bars on Instagram and Twitter. Rapping over an old school beat, Cardi described her verses as “just a little something ’til I finish out the album.”

Known for her vast collection of wigs, fans were quick to note Cardi’s blown out hair was her own, along with a backdrop that included C-Town shopping bags, Vienna sausages and Captain Crunch cereal.

While Cardi hasn’t provided timing for the album, she recently told Billboard the project is at the top of her to-do list. Regarding the sound she’s aiming for, she explained, “I was going with what I want people to hear, and what I like, so that’s what I’m doing now. I’m just having fun in the studio, because if you think, ‘My first album was like this, I gotta have the same recipe,’ it’s just not gonna work.”

Lyrics
BX you know I rep that, bitches step back
I’m right back on my bullshit, you could bet that
Whack hoes I never stressed that, I don’t address that
Cardi B, find me anywhere the check at.
These bum bitches is broke and I don’t respect that.
A lotta sugar daddy talk but they don’t reflect that.
You aint open up no business, got no business.
I be in a mansion, you be in my mentions.
Right out the trenches to the top of the charts.
Lost friends along the way, this shit is breaking my heart.
‘Bout 30 seconds in, I’m like, where do I start?
I don’t act, I’m a hustler, just playing my part.
What you spend on your whip, bitch, I spend on my fit.
You don’t let your man hit ’cause you’ve been on my dick.
I’m about to follow him back and send him a pic
Of me holding my Grammy and rubbing my clit.
Get that input, I’m guaranteed an outcome.
Ass fat but I still poke it out some.
Make your nigga play the middle like he Malcolm
Just a little something ’til I finish out the album
