Designer Marc Jacobs commemorates Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rat with a The Marc Jacobs collaborative capsule with Stray Rats, a streetwear collective based in Miami. Items in the collection include a t-shirt, hoodie and a striped sweater, all of which are adorned with Marc Jacob’s Stinky Rat logo, which first appeared in the early 2000s.

Commenting on the effort on Instagram, Jacobs wrote, “To celebrate the Year of the Rat, we collaborated with Miami/NYC-based brand Stray Rats on a Lunar New Year capsule. The graphics pay homage to Marc Jacobs’ line ‘Stinky Rat’ from the early 00s.”

The collection campaign features Nathalie Nguyen, Alison Boregard, and Frank Ocean, who was recently named as the face of Prada.

Priced from $65 for the t-shirt up to $295 for the sweater, offerings are now available on marcjacobs.com.

Part of his debut collection with the retailer, the men's "giant fit" chino priced at 89.50 is 100% sold out! Relecting the popularity of the silhouette, the women's wide-leg pleated cargo is also sold out.

With wider fits and chino swinging back into popularity, we can't help but wonder what sneakers and shoes will be coming along for the ride. Any nominations?

The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her care The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her career as a professional tennis player in the September issue of American Vogue.

In the cover story, which is a must read, Williams shares some thoughts on her evolution away from tennis and says,"Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair. If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family. Maybe I’d be more of a Tom Brady if I had that opportunity. Don’t get me wrong: I love being a woman, and I loved every second of being pregnant with Olympia. I was one of those annoying women who adored being pregnant and was working until the day I had to report to the hospital—although things got super complicated on the other side. And I almost did do the impossible: A lot of people don’t realize that I was two months pregnant when I won the Australian Open in 2017."

The cover editorial was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who in 2020 became the first black woman to style a U.S. Vogue cover.

This cover was also one of the last projects hairstylist #LatishaChong worked on before she sadly passed away in July this year.
