Canadian pop artist Justin Beiber has dropped a remix of new single “Yummy” featuring rising Atlanta-based r&b singer, Summer Walker with production by London On Da Track. Bieber hinted at the remix on social media last and Walker responded with enthusiasm to the announcement.
For her verses, Walker sings, “You already know, I got it. Can’t keep flexing on you when you can’t stop this. You already know, you want this. If you talkin’ then you ain’t doin’ nothing. Oh, and your hands on my body. In the AM or PM, you get what needed from me.”
Much like Drake, Bieber has been taken to task for aligning himself with up-and-coming black artists like Walker in an effort to up his cool quotient. Reflecting the sentiment, Walker’s fans on social media have told her to take a pass on working with Bieber. At the same time, Bieber’s fans have argued that his string of number ones and a massive fan base make the pairing a more advantageous one for Walker.
