In celebration of the NBA All Star weekend (February 14-14, 2020) in Chicago, StockX shows some love to the Windy City with a fundraiser for Common Ground Foundation, a Chicago-based organization started by Common (real name Lonnie Rashid) to mentor Chicago high school students.
Organized with Don C [real name Don Crawley] of RSVP Gallery and visual artist Brandon Breaux, the effort brings together an array of creatives in the name of raising funds for Common Grounds.
Items include a “Chi-Town Champs” crewneck designed by Los Angeles-based designer Melody Ehsani and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa (real name Victor Mensah); Union Los Angeles and Hebru Brantley “Son of Garvey” hoodie and Awake NY and Easy Otabor “1988” t-shirt, each of which is limited to a 300-piece run.
Not available through traditional sale, an entry to a lottery for each item can be purchased with a $10 donation. Bidders can make unlimited donations and winners can land more than one item.
As a special bonus, seven of the 900 lottery winners will be selected to win a custom RIMOWA suitcase designed by each collaborator and pre-packed with all all three clothing items plus a pair of Nike Air Force 1 High Just Don All Star Blues sneakers.
Entry into the contest begins on February 10, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST and ends at 11:59 PM EST on February 16th.
To make a donation on any of the three items, visit StockX.
