Los Angeles-born rapper Doja Cat serves up a remix of “Say So” featuring Nicki Minaj. Recently certified platinum, “Say So” now sits at No. 5 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” Chart making it her highest charting song to date.
Doja (real name Amalaratna Dlamini) has never been shy in expressing her admiration for Minaj (real name Onika Miraj), who she views as foundational to rap culture. In a recent Instagram Live session, Doja explained, “I just think she belongs in the spotlight. She should be heard and that is the f*cking bottom line. I don’t want to hear anybody else.”
