In honor of World Bee Day on May 20, 2020, London-based sustainable fashion brand PANGAIA has announced the launch of Bee the Change, a fund made in partnership with global charity platform Milkywire. The fund was created to protect and preserve vulnerable and endangered bee species across the world.
The fund will be kicked off with a capsule collection designed by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Offerings include an off white t-shirt featuring a flower and bee print and a saffron yellow t-shirt detailed with a flower ball and bee graphic. Made from a mix of recycled and organic cotton, Hoodies will come in either cobalt blue with a flower and bee print or orchid purple with a flower ball and bee print.
Reflecting PANGAIA manufacturing values, the t-shirts are made from 100-percent Global Organic Textile Standard-certified organic cotton.
Priced at $95 for the t-shirt and $220 for the hoodie, both items will launch on May 20th on thepangaia.com. Check out items in the collection below. Images via TM/KK.
