Essentials Drops A New Capsule Of Team Cozy Classics

Fear of God‘s lower-priced Essentials line just dropped a fresh capsule at PacSun. The six-piece capsule is made up of team cozy classics including a t-shirt, long-sleeve t-shirt, zip hoodie, crewneck sweatshirt, polo shirt and sweatpants.

Made of 100-percent cotton, each item is offered in one of three colors: black, tan, cream and white.

FOG was launched in Los Angeles in 2013 by Jerry Lorenzo who when on to launch Essentials in 2018. On the initial reasoning for Essentials, Lorenzo explained to Vogue, “When we first started Essentials five years ago, in all honesty, my heart was in creating a diffusion collection for the kids that couldn’t afford what we were doing at a luxury level.”

However, Lorenzo now sees that thinking as dated. He added, “To me what I was doing with Essentials felt dishonest after a while, because it was just a watered down version of Fear of God. I wanted to provide something that can stand alongside the main line as its own being.

“We don’t feel that accessibility needs to be a knock off or a cheaper version of a better thing. Why not just make a great thing at an accessible price point that’s founded in honesty?”

Ranging in price from $40 for a t-shirt up to $90 for a hoodie or sweatpants, all items are now available (and selling fast) on pacsun.com.

Dutch designer Daniëlle Cathari has been announce Dutch designer Daniëlle Cathari has been announced as Kith Women's creative director. Cathari’s first collection will launch in 2024. She will lead design for Kith Women collections, a noteworthy moment marked by the news Kith Women is opening a stand-alone store located at 644 Broadway in Kith's first orginal store, opened in 2011. The store will include a flower and coffee shop and will open on Dec. 15th

Cathari was in her third year of stuides a the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, when she won the VFiles Fashion show in 2017, the first student of her school to do so. Her colorful collection of upcycled vintage Adidas tracksuits caught the eye of the brand who reached out to her a year later to create a capsule inspired by her runway. The same collection also landed Cathari on Kith founder Ronnie Fieg's radar.

Fieg made the connection to Cathari through Aimé Leon Dore founder and creative director Teddy Santis, who was friendly with her and knew Fieg was looking for someone to lead creatives for Kith Women.

Commenting on the hire, Kith founder Ronnie Fieg said, "I’ve always wanted to offer women the same experience that we we offer men, that they can shop the brand and footwear on the same level; but I’ve had the struggle of not knowing how to communicate it the same way and emotionally connect to it in the same way and wanted to make sure the person that we brought on board could wear and live through the product they create. That they eat, breathe, and live the brand inside and out.”

Launched in August '22, @rumors.ae boasts an assortment of 8 scents that cleverly blend lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek humor in presentation with deep and complex fragrances. While playful in its themes, this collection isn't reminiscent of fruity or sweet scents; instead, its floral-themed packaging exudes sophistication and cosmopolitan vibes. Our top picks are 'She Said That', 'Whispers' and Love&War.

Currently, Rumors is not globally available yet, It's a brand to keep an eye on!

Renowned for pioneering captivating graphics such as the Knuckle Ring Tee, among other iconic designs, the brand achieved success by crafting impactful designs inspired by a fusion of hip hop, NYC skate culture and social consciousness.

Announcing the news on X, Sasso wrote, "It is done. What happened to MeccaUSA? What happened to AlphaNumeric? What happened to PNB? What happened to 10.Deep? The particulars of the stories are different, but all had 'partnerships' with the same company, and the results ended up being the same.

"Today my ties to 10.Deep were severed once and for all. Big bank, takes little bank. But with what goal? I'm not sure of the answer to that question is. I think of what I've seen with the other brands that share the a similar history."
