Brooklyn-born rapper Leikeli47 gets the crowd moving with the release of a ballroom music-infused “Bitch I’m the Man.” The song is the debut single from her third studio album, Shape Up, dropping on August 24, 2020.
Speaking to the song’s braggadocio title, the visual is a collection of video clips and stills, which, all told, speak to the incredible richness that is Black American culture.
Acting as a thread of sorts are various ballroom dance scenes which are dropped in throughout the video. Additional moments include MC Debra, Tracee Ellis Ross, Miss Jay, Viola Davis picking up her bag and leaving in the role of Annalise Keating, an Allen Iverson crossover in action, the Fugees, Michael Jackson, Florence Griffith-Joyner, Kobe Bryant, Felicia from Friday, Beyoncé, Michelle Obama, Rihanna, Love & Basketball, Halle Berry in a bikini, Serena Williams, Foxy Brown, Naomi Campbell, Mike Tyson and so many more.
