Long in the works, Rihanna today officially announced the coming launch of Fenty Skin. First mentioned by brand CEO Robyn Rihanna Fenty in April 2020, the brand now has an official website and is set to debut July 31, 2020.
The brand was announced with a video of Rihanna using a three step skincare process with a cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Product is chic and minimalist with either dove grey or clear packaging.
In an exchange with a follower on Instagram who expressed hoped the products would work for sensitive skin, Rihanna stated, “I get so scared to try new product but I made this with care for my sensitive skin gang.”
Fenty Skin follows the launch of Fenty Beauty, a range of makeup and accessories launched under LVMH in September 2017. According to Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive officer of LVMH, Fenty Beauty’s sales reached almost 500 million euros ($573 million) by the end of 2018.
