American-Colombian music creative Kali Uchis (real name Karly-Marina Loaiza) has dropped a visual for “Aquí Yo Mando,” a song featuring Washington, DC-born rapper Rico Nasty (real name Maria Kelly). Produced by reggaton producer Tainy, the track features both artists rapping and singing in Spanish and English.
In the Phillipia Price-directed visual, the glamorously grungy duo are shot executing and evading a homicide.
The slick video includes multiple costume changes with Uchis opening up the action in a white corset and Rico sporting an over-sized blazer.
Commenting on the visual, Uchis stated, “To my fans and new listeners; I pray this song makes you feel tasty and powerful, thank you!”
While Rico is know for her elevated punk hair looks, her stylist, Preston Wada, took her hair looks to Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes levels in the video through sculptural braided looks.
Uchis is currently working on her sophomore album, her first Spanish language album. As of yet unnamed, the project following her recent EP, “To Feel Alive.”
