Boston-based Converse and Ambush as led by Yoon Ahn have joined forces on a two shoe capsule of Converse sneakers comprising a fur-covered Chuck Taylor silhouette plus a bright blue rubber duck boot.
Ambush first teased the faux fur-covered Converse sneaker way back in January 2020, but like multiple launches the drop was delayed by the advent of COVID-19. The bright blue water resistant lace up boot was previewed for the first time on Ambush’s feed earlier this week. Both shoes will be offered in a black or blue colorway.
The Tokyo-based label kicked off its collaborative efforts with Converse in fall 2019 with two silhouettes, a Pro Leather Hi in black and a well-received platform version of Chuck Taylor 70 Hi in white.
No pricing as of now, but Converse and Ambush’s fuzzy Chuck Taylor and boot silhouette are slated to launch globally on November 24, 2020.
