Nike and Comme des Garçons‘ Blazer sneaker (style code: DA5383-100)  celebrating tennis champ Naomi Osaka is now live. Offered as part of Tokyo-based Dover Street Market and SWITCH Publishing’s “People of the Year” capsule celebrating eight creatives, the Osaka sneaker is accompanied by a coordinated white t-shirt detailed with black print.

Nike press on the effort reads, “Osaka’s success on the court is proven as a three-time Grand Slam champion. She also makes an impact off the court, as an advocate for change in the social- and racial-justice movement and as a role model encouraging and empowering the next generation of female athletes. For this reason, Osaka has been honored as one of the “People of the Year” by Comme des Garçons and SWITCH Publishing.”

Designed by Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market’s Rei Kawakubo, the white canvass Blazer is detailed with a white leather Swoosh and a grey-colored, all-over Comme des Garçon and Naomi Osaka print as well as Osaka’s signature and the words “Home is where the heart is” on the shoe’s quarter panel.

In addition to the Nike Blazer, Osaka was recently tapped by Scottish accessory company Strathberry to help design a bag capsule.

Info on Blazer Pricing, Sizing and Where to Buy

Priced at $180 for the t-shirt and $410 for the Blazer, the shoe is now available in men’s sizing 4-12 on shop.doverstreetmarket.com.

Today, Kering announced the appointment of Dublin, Today, Kering announced the appointment of Dublin, Ireland-born designer Sean McGirr as the new creative director of Alexander McQueen after the departure of Sarah Burton.

A graduate of London’s prestigious Central Saint Martins fashion school, he embarked on his career as an assistant at Burberry and Vogue Hommes Japan before becoming part of the creative team at Uniqlo. Prior to his tenure at JW Anderson, McGirr served as the womenswear designer at the renowned Belgian fashion brand, Dries Van Noten.

With the appointment of McGuirr Kering no longer has any woman creative director for its fashion brands. The visual on the slide.

A new #Gucci luggage campaign under Sabato de Sarn A new #Gucci luggage campaign under Sabato de Sarno's creative direction starring Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny, was unveiled this weekend.

To give context to the campaign, a portion of the press release reads,"Shot in an airport, the meeting place where journeys begin, the campaign explores the intimacy of traveling together through the creative lens of Anthony Seklaoui. Stills capture the fleeting spirit of Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny's airport stroll, redefining the Jet Set glamour of the 1990s."

Does this campaign count as a relationship hard launch?

Sarah Burton presented her last collection as Alex Sarah Burton presented her last collection as Alexander McQueen's creative director during Paris Fashion Week this Saturday. Naomi campbell closed the show in a stunning silver dress!

Burton's tenure as creative director for Alexander McQueen has been remarkable, spanning an impressive 26 years. Her ability to maintain the brand's distinctive blend of beauty and edge is noteworthy.

Burton became creative director in 2010 after the tragic loss of Lee Alexander McQueen. As the only female creative director in Kering's fashion portfolio, her contributions have been significant, and her departure, in our opinion leaves a big gap in a house with a very deep and unique brand dna.

Any thoughts on who will be the next McQueen creative director?
