Minneapolis-born songstress Kelese has released a double feature video for sultry r&b singles “Krazy” and “Complicated,” both of which were included on her three song, 2020 EP “Soon You’ll Understand.”
Filmed in Kelese’s hometown and directed by LENSFACE (real name Henry Ariza), the visual highlights Kelese enjoying a winter night out starting at the Sculpture Garden, hitting the hookah spot and riding around Downtown with her girls.
With dance moves were choreographed by Cierra Chanel, the song and the visual celebrate taking time to live life and enjoy time with true friends.
Kelese recently release part three in a four-EP series titled “Roundtrip: MSP-ATL,” a title reflecting her move from living in Minneapolis to residing and recording in Atlanta. The series of EPs features assists from heavy hitter producers Hollywood Cole, Loner, Frankie Bash, LULE and more.
Reflecting the range of emotions expressed in the series’ three EPs Kelese explained, “When I was recording, I was in a different headspace with each one and that’s why they all sound different.”
