Marine Serre Teams Up With Jimmy Choo For Slick Collection of Footwear

Marine Serre has teamed up with Jimmy Choo for a very slick footwear capsule befitting the French designer’s equal parts edgy and futuristic approach. The silhouettes will be featured in the designer’s upcoming Paris Fashion Week film.

Working off of a white, red and black color story, the Italian-made shoes make use of a leather, rubber and jersey material story that includes Marine Serre’s signature crescent moon print. Offerings include seven different silhouettes ranging from a lace up sneaker to a Mary Jane pump, high heel pump and mid-calf boot, all of which employ a slightly square toe.

Commenting on the collection in press, Serre stated, “I really enjoyed collaborating with Jimmy Choo because of its heritage, unique savoir-faire and its consolidated experience in shoe design and production. It was exciting to see how we could merge the two brand’s identities into a hybrid product, that could reflect the feminine aesthetic of Jimmy Choo and our futuristic approach towards practicality and comfort

Describing Serre as an “exciting talent,” Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi added, “Her designs are bold, confident and inherently feminine, which is perfectly attuned to our language at Jimmy Choo. Marine has her own ethos and way of thinking about the future and it felt right for us to collaborate.”

Priced from $695 for sneakers up to $1,395 for a white leather and rubber calf boot, the collection is now available at jimmychoo.com and mytheresa.com.
