Global sports brand Puma is celebrating women with a new campaign titled “She Moves Us” featuring its 2021 line up of ambassadors as led by music creative Dua Lipa and models Cara Delevingne and Winnie Harlow.

The effort also includes WNBA star Skylar Diggins-Smith, as well as stylist June Ambrose, actress Lauren London, designer Nicole McLaughlin and fitness expert and LGBTQ rights activist Bethany C. Meyers, among others.

According to press announcing the effort, “She Moves Us will tell the story of how Puma’s female ambassadors were inspired to become who they are today, the women who helped them, how they overcame challenges in their personal lives and careers and how they made it to the top in their respective fields.”

Commenting on the focus on women, rising pop star Lipa, whose single “Electricity” is featured in campaign video, commented, Sharing stories of success is all part of changing the narrative, especially in fields like sports and entertainment that have tended to amplify the accomplishments of men. Women are already nailing it across the board and celebrating their achievements is exciting and empowering.

As part of the effort, Puma is partnered with Women Win, a global women’s fund which uses sport to advance gender equality from the bottom up.

Givenchy reative director Matthew M. Williams will Givenchy reative director Matthew M. Williams will step down from the role following a three-year stint with the LVMH-owned label. Williams will present his final collection with a men's and women's pre-fall 2024 collection, to be unveiled in the coming days.

Leading the creative direction of Givenchy was, as I said upon my arrival in 2020, the dream of a lifetime,” Williams said in the statement. “Over these three years, I have strived to perpetuate Mr. Hubert de Givenchy’s legacy while bringing my own creative vision and I would like to sincerely thank the studio, Renaud de Lesquen and LVMH for this incredible opportunity.”

While Williams was credited with the buzzworthy Shark boot and Voyou handbag, he was often derided by the online fashion community for falling short of achieiving the same level of buzz and cool when the label was under Riccardo Tisci's creative direction from 2005 to 2017.

Williams will continue to head creative direction for his own label, 1017 Alyx 9SM, which recently announced plans to ramp up production and expand door count through a parntership with Adrian Cheng, a Hong Kong entrepreneur.
