Los Angeles-based Fear of God preps for summer ‘fits with a new silhouette called the Jerry mule. The Italian made, EVA-foam silhouette featuring a slightly-tapered toe will be offered in cream, oat, almond, concrete and cement.
Lorenzo was first spotted in the mule while paying a visit to Adidas‘ headquarters. While there was some chatter about whether the shoe was part of Lorenzo’s upcoming Fear of God Athletics partnership with Adidas, the 43-year-old designer let it be known that wasn’t the case. According to comments made by Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted and Lorenzo, the first Fear of God Athletics offerings at the earliest will land in holiday 2021.
The shoe arrives in the midst of an EVA slip-on shoe renaissance with YEEZY‘s Foam Runner and Slide and Crocs Classic clog leading the trend. Taking a different approach, Fear of God’s version is slimmer and more streamlined.
Offered in men’s, women’s and kids sizing, the Jerry mule is priced at $200 and will launch sometime during summer 2021.
