Brooklyn-based creative KAWS whose real name is Brian Donnelly has partnered with Comme des Garçons to release his first fragrance. Called Mirror, the eau de toilette is inspired by KAWS’ multi-faceted practice. Described as a “complex blend of optimistic fragrant notes,” which combine for a musky floral scent.
The 100 millimeter clear glass bottle features a KAWS COMPANION character in the form of two gloved hands which appear to be struggling to stay afloat in a red body of water.
While this is KAWS first perfume, he designed the bottle and packaging for a Pharrell Williams and Comme des Garçons perfume called Girl, which launched in 2014.
Made in France, KAWS and Comme des Garçons’ mirror perfume is available exclusively at Dover Street Parfums Market located at 11 bis rue Elzévir in Paris. The store offers free 24-hour delivery within Paris and free shipping on orders over $174 to European countries.
