Los Angeles-native Laura Fama, co-founder of streetwear label Dimepiece, has introduced an affirmation card set. Inspired by Filipino proverbs, the Awaken 56-card set is meant to provide uplifting, feel good wisdom.
Sharing thoughts on inspiration for the card set, Fama took to Instagram where she wrote, “I constantly doubt myself when I’m fearful of doing the hard work to achieve my creative vision. I feel guilty when I rest and overconsume digital media that influences my work negatively, which has the power to push me to compare myself with others. I’ve felt alone as a creative, and I hope my affirmations and prompts can encourage others to feel connected and create from the heart.”
Priced at $25, Fama’s Awaken affirmation card set is available on Kickstarter until May 19th, 2022.
