Harlem-born music creative A$AP Rocky newly-released “D.M.B.” video starring his girlfriend, Rihanna, has created some buzz not just because it stars the stylish couple, but also because it includes a proposal.
Dubbed a “ghetto love story,” the video portrays Rocky and Rihanna as each other’s ride or die with Rihanna sticking by her man despite his being jailed. Just over half way through the video, Rocky proposes with a grill that reads “marry me?” to which Robyn Fenty responds with a grill (designed by Dolly Cohen) stating “I do.” The handsome duo are then shown participating in a marriage ceremony that takes place in what appears to be the hallway of a Bronx apartment building.
Following the launch, social media was filled with posts wondering whether the couple had married or were at the very least engaged. According to an unidentified TMZ source, the proposal in the video was done in fun and the couple are not engaged or married. Noting the couple are expecting their first baby together, the publication added the “due date is rapidly approaching.”
