Hood by Air founder Shayne Oliver has presented a new collection, shown through his recently-formed Anonymous Club platform, a fashion, music and performance art collective. Dubbed “Club Couture,” the collection was shown on July 16, 2022, at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood.
In an exchange with Vogue about launching the Anonymous Club platform, Oliver explained, “I was just trying to come in as a teacher. Anonymous Club is about kids being able to look at my archive and build based on what I’ve done. My archive is what the kids dig through, and using that and the factories and capabilities that I have just allows them to spread their wings, they can do their thing, and Oliver can do his.”
The Anonymous Club collection will be available on a website still in development.
