Multi-disciplinary artist Shantell Martin has teamed up with Brooklyn-based homeware brand Hoek on a limited edition of furniture and accessories. Known for quick assembly eco-conscious furniture, Hoek and Shantell Martin created an assortment of items all featuring Martin’s signature line art work.
In press about the collaboration, Hoek co-founder and CEO Conor Coghlan says, “Using our collaboration with Shantell as a starting point, we can set up a framework for future artists to collaborate with Hoek on an ongoing basis. Shantell’s art perfectly utilized our machinery, workshop, and expertise in materials and fabrication. We hope to enable other young artists to find a platform and also further our mission of innovation within the furniture industry.”
