Mattel’s Barbie and Kartell are leaning into pink with a collection of the Italian design house’s most recognizable chairs, offered in miniature and full-sized form. Curated by design legend Phillippe Starck, the capsule includes Kartell’s AI, Venice, Louis Ghost, Masters, Ero/s, all of which are offered in Barbie’s signature color, Pantone 219C.
The collaboration made its debut in April, during Milan Design Week, where full-sized versions of the Louis Ghost and the Masters chair were on display. Both full-sized chairs are described as made of a “new sustainable material.”
The full-sized Louis Ghost ($550) and Masters chair ($770) along with the collection of five miniature chairs ($60) is now available on kartell.com
