Adidas has leaned into the success of its adiFOM Q silhouette with a Superstar-inspired colorway of the slip-on foam shoe. Offered in either black with white stripes of white with black stripes, the slip-on shoe features a ridged foam upper partially composed of sugarcane, a sustainable textile.
Adidas’ AdiFOM Superstar follows the adiFOM Q, a lace up foam shoe debuted in September 2022. The silhouette was one of two silhouettes that Yeezy CEO and music creative Ye railed against because he viewed it as a take down of a Foam Runner. Whether it was because the attention Ye drew to the shoe or simply because it’s in-step with the foam shoe trend, the adiFOM has been a big success for the brand.
Priced at $109, the black version of the adiFOM Superstar was released in Singapore on December 26th on adidas.com.sg and is sold out in most sizes. At the moment there is no official North American release date.
